Daily Camera — Homeless crisis necessitates local focus – from Boulder and everywhere else (Editorial)
Earlier this month, Boulder’s All Roads homeless shelter announced it would be changing one of its central policies. Starting on May 4, the shelter will begin limiting the stays of those with no demonstrable ties to Boulder to just 10 days.
On its surface, such a decision is rather straightforward and logical. And while we support All Roads and this shift in policy, it is worth parsing apart why our local shelter has had to make this change and why it matters.
